PURJA’S MILITARY PAST AND ACCOLADES
Nirmal Purja’s remarkable story began long before his record-breaking climbs. His 16-year career in the British military, including 10 years in the Special Forces, demonstrated a level of discipline, resilience, and strategic thinking that would later serve him well in his mountaineering pursuits.
